LAFAYETTE — The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team defeated Grambling on Saturday at Cajun Courts to extend its winning streak to three straight matches.
Intermittent rain showers frequently interrupted play and caused delays, but Louisiana (4-6) did not let the weather negatively affect their success on the court, earning four straight-set victories to seal their third straight win.
Due to the potential inclement weather forecast, singles were played first, with doubles only coming if the match wasn't clinched at the end of singles, but the Cajuns didn't need to get that far to clinch the match.
