LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team couldn't overcome an early deficit on Saturday as the Cajuns came up short 8-5 against Troy in game two of the series at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.
The Cajuns (9-13, 1-4 SBC) and Trojans (16-7, 3-2 SBC) each had nine hits in the game and each left runners on base.
Starter Jack Buck was handed the loss after giving up seven runs (six earned) on five hits with two walks in 2.1 innings of work.
