This morning we had the distinct pleasure of announcing Billy Napier as the Head Coach of the Ragin' Cajuns Football program. The head coach opportunity at the University of Louisiana garnered the interest of many quality candidates throughout the country, so much that I found myself both honored and humbled to be associated with such a great program. As we began the search process, it was imperative we found a coach who exemplifies the values of the University of Louisiana and the Department of Athletics, a coach who prioritizes the academic success of our student-athletes, builds positive relationships with those he coaches, is a relentless recruiter, places a strong focus on player development, and is a proven winner.
