After finishing near the bottom of the league in offense last year, the Los Angeles Rams knew there was a good chance they would have one of the weakest receiving corps once again in 2016.
So far, that has been the case as Tavon Austin, who received a $42 million extension in the preseason, has struggled to handle the duties of a No. 1 wide receiver, but at least Kenny Britt has given the Rams hope about ending a disastrous streak.
As embarrassing as it sounds, the organization hasn’t seen a wide receiver break the 1,000-yard mark since Torry Holt in 2007 (1,189 receiving yards).
