Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay will be entering their fourth season together with the Los Angeles Rams in 2024. That partnership reached its peak during Year 1 when the Rams won Super Bowl LVI over the Cincinnati Bengals. Since then, Stafford has only gone 12-13 as a starter under McVay, yet there is no denying that the pair is among the best in the NFL.
Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame ranked the dynamic duo third in his May 30 ranking of all 32 NFL head coach and quarterback partnerships:
“At 36 years old, Stafford is bound to start regressing, but he remained productive last year with 3,965 yards and 24 touchdowns in 15 games.
