Quarterback Kurt Warner, wide receiver Isaac Bruce, and wide receiver Torry Holt hope the third time is the charm.
For the third year in a row, those three stalwarts of the St. Louis Rams' "Greatest Show on Turf" teams have been named semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
They were among 26 semifinalists announced Wednesday night for the Hall of Fame's Class of 2017.
The list also includes the late Don Coryell, an offensive innovator and head coach of the St. Louis Cardinals teams known as the "Cardiac Cardinals" in the mid 1970s. Safety Steve Atwater, a star for the Denver Broncos who played his high school ball at Lutheran North, also made the semifinals.
