Missouri was one and done in the 2017 NFL draft. The seventh and final round ended Saturday without another MU player selected after defensive end Charles Harris was a first-round pick Thursday by Miami.
It’s the first time since 2012 that Missouri only landed one player in the draft. That year, tight end Michael Egnew was a third-round selection, also by the Dolphins.
Several former Mizzou players hoped to hear their name called during Saturday’s portion of the draft, which included the final four rounds, but instead had to settle for free agent contracts.
