When it came to the frustrations the Los Angeles Rams experienced throughout the 2016 season, watching Todd Gurley fail to record a single 100-yard rushing game was right near the top of that list. And even though there were some concerns from the team’s 46-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts in which he averaged just 2.1 yards per carry, Gurley’s play against the Washington Redskins on Sunday is the perfect example of how special he can truly be.
Not only did Gurley finish the game with 88 rushing yards on 16 carries (5.5 yards per carry) to go along with a touchdown on the ground, but the running back was effective as a receiver as well.
