NASHVILLE, Tenn. • All things considered, it wasn’t a bad rookie season for Dorial Green-Beckham.
He had more receptions (32), for more yards (549) and touchdowns (four) than six of the seven wide receivers selected ahead of him in the 2015 draft. The lone exception, No. 4 overall pick Amari Cooper of Oakland, was on another level entirely with 72 catches for 1,070 yards and six TDs.
Green-Beckham’s average of 17.2 yards per catch led all rookies. And his 93.8 percent first-down rate on receptions led the league for those with at least 32 catches.
