Expect a rollicking sendoff Saturday for Tim Van Galder, the former St. Louis Cardinals quarterback, television sportscaster, man-about-town and raconteur.
Van Galder, who died of cancer last week at age 77, will be remembered first with funeral services beginning at 1 o'clock at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street in St. Charles. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Gene Van Galder, Tim's cousin.
Then his life appropriately will be celebrated in a bar — Circa Pub and Grill, 1090 Old Des Peres Road in Des Peres.
