The New England Patriots will honor members of their Super Bowl XXXVI championship team at halftime of Sunday’s game in Foxborough against the visiting Los Angeles Rams. It has been 15 years since that stunning upset, and man, have the franchises moved in opposite directions since that contest.
Tom Brady becomes the winningest QB in NFL history with a victory over the Rams. He currently shares the top spot with Peyton Manning — at 200 career wins apiece. Since Brady engineered that 20-17 Super Bowl victory, the Rams have had 19 quarterbacks start at least one game. The latest in that long line, rookie Jared Goff, must pull off a monster upset to claim his first NFL victory.
