In the same week that the cornerback depth chart is looking bleak for the Los Angeles Rams with Darious Williams heading to a four-game stint on injured reserve, former Rams CB Jalen Ramsey agreed to terms on a market resetting contract extension with the Miami Dolphins.

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Ramsey’s new deal is worth $72.3M over three years and will make him the highest paid corner in the NFL again. This extension comes on the heels of Patrick Surtain’s new deal with the Denver Broncos that for a few days made him the highest paid CB in the league.
