HOUSTON • After Sunday night, there can no longer be any doubt about this, right?
A comeback for the ages. A record-setting Super Bowl for quarterback Tom Brady. And a record-setting fifth Super Bowl championship for both Brady and coach Bill Belichick. It came in dramatic fashion — a 34-28 victory for New England at NRG Stadium in the first overtime game in Super Bowl history.
Sure, the asterisk stays with them — from “Spygate” and “Deflategate.” But it can no longer be denied. With all respect to the great coaches and great players before them, Brady is the greatest quarterback in NFL history; Belichick the greatest coach.
