EARTH CITY, Mo. -- This is a big week for the city of St. Louis' efforts to keep the NFL.
On Tuesday, the St. Louis Board of Aldermen pushed the city piece of the financing forward to the next phase, a scheduled vote for Friday that would solidify the final piece of the public financing.
Included in that financing proposal was a series of last-minute adjustments that raised eyebrows on a number of levels but that also included an extra $100 million from the NFL.
On Wednesday, it became more clear where that additional money could -- repeat, could -- come from.
