The NFL and Rams owner Stan Kroenke invested billions of dollars into moving to Los Angeles and building the most expensive state-of-the-art stadium in the world and that investment is set to pay off again: The league owners unanimously voted to approve that SoFi Stadium will how the 2027 Super Bowl in Los Angeles, only six years after the first one.
The Super Bowl will also come only one year after SoFi hosts the World Cup.

It took $6 billion to build SoFi Stadium, so to host this many major world events in a short period of time, the move is likely to generate billions in revenue for the city and surrounding areas.
