Snead: Recent Moves Don't Affect Potential Donald Extension

The question has come up any time General manager Les Snead has spoken with the media this offseason: What’s up with ’s potential contract extension?

There’s certainly good reason for it. Donald was named 2017 AP Defensive Player of the Year despite playing only 14 games after sitting out much of the offseason program then all of training camp while seeking a contract extension. And now Donald is in the last year of his rookie contract, playing on the fifth-year option, as he was a first-round draft pick in 2014.

As he does each time a reporter brings up the subject, Snead once again said on Thursday the organization’s ultimate objective is to make Donald a Ram for a long time.
