Completely randomly, the Arizona Cardinals decided to release long-time veteran EDGE rusher Terrell Suggs this afternoon:
Suggs is a highly-accomplished veteran who has a Super Bowl, seven pro bowls, two All-Pro nods, a Defensive Player of the Year award, and a Defensive Rookie of the Year award to his name. The 37-year old signed with the Cardinals this offseason after spending 16 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
2019 probably hasn’t gone as Suggs envisioned as he should be on a contending team and contributing, though he’s only managed eight tackles for loss, 14 pressures, and 5.
