Even though the details of the trade are still being finalized, one of the most talked about topics at the moment involving the Los Angeles Rams is the team’s surprise agreement to a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs to acquire cornerback Marcus Peters. Originally, the Rams had plenty of questions surrounding the cornerback position since Trumaine Johnson was expected to hit the open market while the timetable for Kayvon Webster to return was still up in the air, but this deal to acquire Peters changes everything.
Not only will Los Angeles save a ton of money with Peters when compared to Johnson, but also the Rams are getting a cornerback who has accounted for 24 turnovers, 19 of which were interceptions, during his first three NFL seasons.
