Last week was filled with questions about John Wolford and Jared Goff, and the general consensus in all of our polling leaned heavily in favor of Wolford. Those fans got their wish when Wolford started against the Seattle Seahawks — and seemingly was prepared to run a more “traditional” version of Sean McVay’s offense as it is with Goff — but he left the game after only six pass attempts with a neck injury.
Goff entered the game with his obviously-swollen thumb and completed nine-of-19 passes, doing enough to help the Rams beat the Seahawks 30-20 and keep them alive for a trip back to the Super Bowl.
