The L.A. Rams were relatively quiet at the NFL trade deadline, aside from trading cornerback Tre’Davious White to the Ravens. Could the Rams have been more active, considering the team is back in the thick of the NFC West chase at 4-4?
LA’s lack of a significant acquisition was somewhat puzzling but not exactly unexpected. For weeks, there were all those insufferable Cooper Kupp rumors. The “will they or won’t they” dance got really old quickly. Fortunately, all those rumors were nothing but talk.
Either way, it’s difficult not to feel let down by Snead’s inactivity given the deadline used to be one of his favorite holidays on the NFL calendar.
