One of the interesting nuggets from the Los Angeles Rams’ offseason minicamp was that third-year defensive back Quentin Lake is expected to primarily play safety in 2024 after a standout season last year as the team’s slot corner and dime linebacker.

There’s certainly still time for shake ups in training camp, but as it currently sits Lake will start at safety along with LA’s free agent addition Kamren Curl. Third round pick Kamren Kinchens should provide solid depth and could contribute after some time to develop.

Quentin Lake in his second game back last week once again made his presence felt.
