Secondary steps up, Rob Boras makes adjustments in Rams' win

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- A look back at how the St. Louis Rams fared in three key areas of Sunday's 21-14 win against the Detroit Lions:

1. Bracing in the secondary: Cornerback Janoris Jenkins (concussion) and safety T.J. McDonald (shoulder) were the latest key additions to the Rams' injury report. Their absence figured to make for tough sledding on Sunday against the Lions' passing attack. But defensive coordinator Gregg Williams came up with the necessary answers for the Rams to get it done.

With cornerback Trumaine Johnson shadowing Detroit wideout Calvin Johnson all day, the man known as "Megatron" was limited to one of his least productive days as a pro.
