For the first time since coming on board as head coach in 2017, Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams are in the middle of a three-game losing streak after coming up short 20-7 against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6.
After suffering two tough losses in a row to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks, Sunday’s meeting with the 49ers was viewed as a must-win situation for the Rams by many, especially since they currently are in third place in the NFC West standings.
Now that Los Angeles has dug themselves a deeper hole in the division race, McVay finds himself dealing with a new level of pressure as a head coach since he’s never experienced three losses in a row.
