Even though Sean Mannion is no longer part of the plans for the Los Angeles Rams after four seasons, the team is still interested to see where he ends up for the 2019 season since they have every reason to wish nothing but the best for their former backup.
Before free agency officially got underway, there were early signs that Los Angeles would allow Mannion to test the open market, mainly because his asking price would most likely be too much compared to what other teams were willing to offer.
While Mannion hasn’t exactly done anything significant on the field since the Rams have luckily never needed him for a meaningful game since Jared Goff has stayed healthy, just learning under Sean McVay over the last two seasons was enough to get other teams interested in the backup.
