Just a few months after posting a career-best season, Doug Baldwin has reportedly agreed to a contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks.
Via multiple reports, Baldwin’s four-year deal is worth $46 million, with $24.25 million guaranteed.
Undrafted out of Stanford in 2011, Baldwin has played in 78 of 80 games for Seattle since signing with the Seahawks, he has started every game each of the last two seasons. Last year, Baldwin had 78 catches (on 103 targets) for 1,069 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns.
At the conclusion of the Seahawks’ mini-camp earlier this month, Seattle coach Pete Carroll called signing Baldwin to an extension a priority for the club, and that negotiations had begun between Seattle and Baldwin’s agent.
