EARTH CITY, Mo. -- St. Louis sent the NFL and the appropriate parties its final stadium proposal on Tuesday, one day before the NFL's deadline.
It's a proposal that's much further along than anything happening in the home markets of San Diego and Oakland but still might not be enough to keep the Rams in town. That will be decided later.
On Wednesday, however, San Diego and Oakland also joined the fray by submitting something to the NFL, though neither submission contained actionable public money like St. Louis' plan.
In San Diego, the offering did at least contain formal plans to make a stadium happen.
