METAIRIE, La. -- Super Bowl championship reunions don't get any more awkward than the one that will take place Sunday in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams will return for the first time since he A) helped the New Orleans Saints win their only Super Bowl championship in the 2009 season and B) helped tarnish it as the alleged ringleader of the Saints' infamous Bountygate scandal.
"It's not about that, it's about these guys playing. ... It's not about me," said Williams, who downplayed his return on Friday when asked how he thinks the fans will receive him.
