When the Los Angeles Rams traded up for Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske, it was a move that was questioned by analysts and people around the league. Dubbed as the most expensive day two draft trade of the last six years, the Rams gave up a 2025 2nd round pick and their fifth-round pick to move up 13 spots.
As per usual, general manager Les Snead’s discipline came into question. A NFL executive said at the time,
“We liked Fiske, but what they gave up, I mean, can you find another trade in the second round that gave up as much as they gave up, over the last 10 years?
