Looking back at the 2017 offseason, there’s no question the Los Angeles Rams ended up with one of the biggest steals from free agency in Robert Woods, and it’s tough to imagine what the previous two years would have been like without him.
At the time of the Woods signing, the Rams were in desperate need of help at the wide receiver position after averaging just 14 points per game in 2016.
Woods may not have been considered a top wideout back then since his best numbers came in 2014 when he caught 65 passes for 699 yards with touchdowns, but this is no longer the case.
