USA Today's Tom Pelissero relayed the update and added that Quinn is in stable condition.
This is yet another setback for Quinn, who missed time earlier this season with a shoulder injury. He also played in just eight games last year because of a back injury that ultimately required surgery.
There are few better edge-rushers in the league than Quinn when he's healthy.
