Shane Waldron has been working with Sean McVay since being hired as an offensive quality control coach with Washington in 2016, but he has been “passed over” for the offensive coordinator position several times since following McVay to the LA Rams in 2017. Would Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll be willing to give him that promotion in Seattle?
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday morning that Carroll has “been speaking” to Waldron about the open offensive coordinator position with the Seahawks, though Waldron is one of many names that have been connected to that job so far.
