Report: Rams want injury-inducing cement at Edward Jones Dome replaced (Shutdown Corner)

After two opposing players slipped in recent weeks, the St. Louis Rams are pushing to have the exposed concrete surface behind the bench areas replaced before their next home game, according to FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo.

Though the surface has been in place since the Rams began playing in the Edward Jones Dome in 1995, Cleveland's Josh McCown and San Francisco's Reggie Bush were hurt in back-to-back weeks. Bush suffered a likely season-ending knee injury last Sunday when his feet gave out from under him when he was trying to stop himself on the concrete.
