Noteboom, 27, was carted off Sunday after just nine offensive snaps in the Rams' win over the Panthers. He took over the position this season after the retirement of Andrew Whitworth.
It's another blow to an offensive line that was already without starting center Brian Allen, guards David Edwards (concussion) and Coleman Shelton (ankle), and tackle Tremayne Anchrum (leg), who's out for the season.
Alaric Jackson replaced Noteboom at left tackle against the Panthers while Oday Aboushi came into the game to replace Jackson at right guard.
Noteboom signed a three-year, $40 million contract with the Rams in March.
