Even on a slow news day, the Los Angeles Rams make waves (small ones count too)! According to the Rams themselves, they’ve re-signed free agent linebacker Bryce Hager to a one-year deal:
Hager has become a mainstay for the Rams on the special teams units since being a seventh-round draft pick in 2015. Hager registered 14 tackles this season as well as a pass deflection, both happen to be career highs.
Hager is obviously a replaceable talent, though the recent loss of Ramik Wilson to the Jaguars as well as the release of Mark Barron made this move happen.
