When the time is right, Jared Goff will be the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams when considering all of the future draft picks the team surrendered to move up in the 2016 NFL Draft. Unfortunately for the former California star, that time still seems far away and he certainly won’t be suiting up for Monday’s opener against the San Francisco 49ers.
On Monday, it was revealed by NFL Network’s Steve Wyche that Goff will be inactive for the team’s first game against the 49ers, with Case Keenum being the starter and Sean Mannion serving as the backup.
