With Peyton Manning calling it a career after winning the Super Bowl in February, the Denver Broncos found themselves in an interesting situation at quarterback when considering the team had no idea who would be the starter in 2016. Apparently, the Broncos were so unsure about who would be running the offense, the team even considered the possibility of a trading with the Los Angeles Rams for Case Keenum.
Obviously, this never happened as Trevor Siemian earned his first career start on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers, but it’s still interesting to think about how the 2016 season would be different for the Rams if the trade went down.
