OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -- The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Cardinals cornerback Jerraud Powers to a one-year contract.
Powers started 13 games last season for Arizona, finishing with 52 tackles, an interception and a sack.
The 28-year-old Powers played the first four years of his career with Indianapolis and the last three with the Cardinals. He has started 82 of 87 games.
A third-round pick out of Auburn in 2009, Powers has 11 career interceptions.
He is expected to compete against Shareece Wright and Will Davis for a starting job opposite Jimmy Smith.
