The Los Angeles Rams (1-4) are on a bye week, but surely many of the people within the organization watched the Thursday night game between the San Francisco 49ers (3-3) and the Seattle Seahawks (3-3). The game had big implications for the state of the NFC West at present and in the future. The 49ers won to move themselves atop the NFC West, and it can be argued that was the best-case outcome for LA because it kept Seattle from reaching 4-1, and potentially starting to run away with the division lead. With the loss against the 49ers, Seattle moved to second in the division while the Arizona Cardinals (2-3) are in third place as of this writing.
