According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Rams have recently met with Broderick Washington, a stout defensive tackle from Texas Tech.
Washington was a four-year contributor for the Red Raiders defense and started the final 37 games of his career in Lubbock. As a sophomore in 2017, Washington totaled a career-high 44 tackles and a pair of sacks. In 2018, he had 41 total stops, seven tackles-for-loss, and three sacks. In his final year, Washington tallied 39 tackles, 5.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, and two pass deflections. Due to South Carolina’s Javon Kinlaw pulling out of the Senior Bowl, Washington was a late call-up and made the most of his time in Mobile.
