According to the prospect meeting tracker over at BroadwaySportsMedia.com, the Rams are one of eight teams who have met with former Iowa wide receiver/kick returner Ihmir Smith-Marsette.
In his four years at Iowa, Smith-Marsette was utilized mainly as a deep threat and gadget player for an Iowa offense that’s traditionally one of the most pro-style attacks in the country. While not a volume-driven player, Smith-Marsette benefits from his explosive cuts and basketball-like moves in the open field.
His best season at Iowa came in 2019 when he hauled in 44 passes for 722 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 16.
