Random Ramsdom: Rams drop slightly in latest power rankings

The Rams fell in frustrating fashion to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and their fall amongst various NFL power rankings comes as no surprise.

It was just two places — from 10th to 12 — but a fall is a fall.

NFL Nation and Rams beat writer Lindsey Thiry continue to focus on the team’s impressive defense as their biggest reason for optimism going forward.

The Rams’ D, led by two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald and All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey, is allowing an average of 19 points per game, which ranks third in the league.
