The Rams moved on from Jared Goff this offseason in favor of landing veteran Matthew Stafford from the Lions. Goff was the team’s most-recent player picked in the first round at number-one overall in 2016.
After only a few years removed from leading the team to a Super Bowl, Sean Mcvay and company decided that for a number of reasons, Goff wasn’t the right guy to lead this team anymore and they went out and got a quarterback unlike anyone they’ve had in quite some time, if not ever.
With this type of talent under center, and a shrinking window to win now, the Rams should prioritize everything towards giving Stafford everything he could possibly need to succeed in Los Angeles.
