Yesterday I shared a report on the Rams supposedly making a run at Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers prior to the team pulling the trigger to acquire Matthew Stafford from the Lions. Well, according to Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst, that was nowhere near the truth on the matter as he denied all reports regarding Rodgers to the Green Bay media.
At the end of the day, this could all be a facade by Gutekunst to show some concrete solidarity with Rodgers following an MVP-type season from the 37-year old passer. Either way, it’s about to be old news in the coming days.
