On Tuesday afternoon, during a league-wide virtual meeting, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell stated that the plan for the 2021 season is “to see every one of our fans back.”
He then stated that the NFL expects to have full stadiums later this year. In 2020, the league hosted 1.2 million fans throughout its’ stadium while recorded zero notable outbreaks stemming from fans in attendance. As of now, we are roughly five months away from the season kicking off.
Roger Goodell said the plan is to welcome back fans in 2021.
