When your team makes an upgrade at quarterback during an offseason it’s a difficult task to ever take the spotlight off of them. Everything they seem to do — as long as it’s not outright bad — will be accentuated into something more.
But that isn’t necessarily been the case with Matthew Stafford. He’s been outright spectacular this offseason thus far and that’s likely why he was named the Rams’ standout of the offseason by Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski.
“The Los Angeles Rams went to a Super Bowl with Jared Goff behind center,” said Sobleski.
