Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report took to deciding each of the 32 NFL team’s “project player” heading into the 2020 season. For the Rams, that player was cornerback Darious Williams, a former undrafted free agent in 2018 who initially signed with the Baltimore Ravens, signed with the Rams in October of that year. He was a two-year player for the University of Alabama-Birmingham where he picked off five passes as a senior.
Williams started gaining favor with the coaching following some impressive performances towards the end of the 2019 season.
