The Los Angeles Rams will play their first preseason game on Saturday August 14th at SoFi Stadium against the Los Angeles Chargers. With 2021 marking the 6th season since the return of NFL football in LA, it’s hard to believe that we went two decades without a team representing in America’s game.
Nonetheless, we have two teams now and like the Lakers and Clippers and like the Dodgers and Angels, that’s enough for a home town rivalry. Both squads have reason to be pumped up for the upcoming season. The most obvious reason actually has a lower than normal structural profile and that’s the new home (with fans) to both teams at SoFi Stadium.
