IRVINE, Calif. -- One drive.
When the preseason schedule ends, that's probably all the game action Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley will have seen.
Gurley sat out Week 1, sat out Week 3 and will probably sit out Week 4, on Thursday in Minnesota. He got four carries during the offense's first drive in Week 2, rushing for 20 yards and scoring a touchdown, then remained on the sidelines for the rest of the night. By the time he takes the field for the regular-season opener on Sept. 12, Gurley will have gone three weeks since experiencing game speed.
