In case you were still unsure, the Los Angeles Rams' final preseason game confirmed it -- Jared Goff is not ready.
The rookie quarterback and No. 1 overall pick led an impressive touchdown drive to open Thursday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, but completed only a quarter of his passes and made a couple of key turnovers through the rest of the first half in the Rams' 27-25 loss at a brand-new U.S. Bank Stadium.
Aaron Green broke off a 26-yard touchdown run to pull the Rams within two with just under two minutes left. The Rams then got the ball back at their own 39-yard line with 40 seconds remaining, but third-string quarterback Sean Mannion threw two incompletions and took two sacks to seal the loss.
