Rams won’t exercise option on Nickell Robey-Coleman

The Los Angeles Rams are prepared to lose slot cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, per Gary Klein of The LA Times, who says that the team does not plan to exercise the $4.5 million option on Coleman for the 2020 season.

Rams informed CB Nickell Robey-Coleman they will not exercise option for upcoming season, person with knowledge said. Robey-Coleman, who would have carried a $4.5-million cap number, becomes UFA. Weddle, Brockers, Littleton and Robey-Coleman gone from 2019 defense.

Robey-Coleman, 28, was an undrafted free agent out of USC in 2013, signed by the Buffalo Bills.
